Jamie Martinez, MS, LMFT
Mental Health Therapist
Providing high-quality mental healthcare for women, teens and tweens.
I will work with you in exploring problems in a supportive way and helping you find your own answers and coping strategies to life's many challenges. I believe that everyone at some point in their lives can benefit from therapy and that it is a sign of strength to be able to recognize when you need some extra help in dealing with significant and everyday life transitions. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space.
Tweens/Teens (ages 10+)
I also work with kids (ages 10 and up) and adolescents. I am interactive and creative in my work with kids using play therapy in addition to supportive talk therapy and problem solving. I believe that this is helpful in keeping kids’ attention and making an impact that can result in change. I also believe it is important to keep parents involved in the therapy process so that they can help their children practice new skills.
I have a passion for working with those that are in all stages of motherhood, from trying to conceive to launching. It is such a special and important time in women's lives, but also can present very real unexpected challenges and heartbreak that often are not talked about enough for various reasons. This includes those that are struggling with infertility or other life circumstances that alter the journey to motherhood.
